Concert Attire Fit Check — Students must upload a photo of themselves in their concert attire to Google Classroom.

Full Rehearsal (“I Will Always Love You”) in the Auditorium. All students must attend with their instrument and music. Security is notified for early entry through the front doors.
Thu, Oct 1 @ 6:30 PM Call Time (7:00 PM Concert):
First Orchestra Concert! Attendance is required and graded. The performance ends around 8:15 PM.
Thu, Oct 1:
St. Louis Trip Payment Due in the portal.
Thu, Oct 8:
Football Concessions at Buell Stadium. Thank you to everyone signed up to help!
Mon, Oct 12:
UNO “Music Major For A Day” (Grades 11–12):
Register online here. Parents are responsible for transportation and calling the student out for a college visit.
First Concert Reminders (Oct 1)
Dress Code: Long-sleeved black dress shirt, black dress slacks, black dress shoes, and black mid-calf dress socks. (See orchestra handbook for full guidelines).
Refreshments: Please sign up to bring a treat for the post-concert reception!
Livestream: A stream link using our auditorium camera system will be shared as soon as it is available.
Program Proofreading: Please check the concert program draft and email me if you see any name or detail corrections.
Announcements & Reminders
All-State Auditions: Congratulations to the 48 students who completed auditions for the 2026 Nebraska All-State Orchestra! Results will be announced in October.
College-Bound Seniors: If you plan to play in college, ask music faculty during campus visits about auditions, scholarships, and opportunities for majors and non-majors.
Orchestra Fall Party: Event details are being finalized and will be shared soon!
