District Music Contest, Elkhorn North HS – Chamber Orchestra and piano solos (Rohan Y and Jayden L) will compete at the 2024 NSAA District Music Contest.
All performances are free and open to the public! Chamber performs at 9:05 p.m. in the ENHS auditorium.

Elkhorn North HS
Selected soloists and small ensembles will compete at the 2024 NSAA District Music Contest. Come out and support your fellow Mustangs! Soloists – several rehearsed with Ms. Anderson last Friday, several more will rehearse this coming Monday (04/15/2024)- double check the piano rehearsal schedule.
Saturday, May 11, Morning – Philharmonic Orchestra competes at the NE-ASTA Young Orchestra Festival @ MSHS. Students may also compete as a soloist and/or as part of a small ensemble.
Saturday, May 11, 1 p.m. – Symphony and Chamber performance + carnival @ MNHS
All Symphony and Chamber Orchestra students are invited to attend this trip!

Saturday, May 25, 1p.m. – Chamber and Symphony Orchestra performance at Graduation @ Baxter Arena
If a student is currently using a school instrument, and plans on returning to orchestra in the 2024-25 school year, I will plan on checking out the same instrument to that student.
If your student does not currently use a school instrument, but needs one for the 2024-25 school year, please contact Mrs. Martinez.
If you do not plan to return to orchestra next year, we will need your instrument returned by May 20.
For those returning, we do ask that school instruments be kept at home this summer due to the Construction in the MNHS Music Wing.
Great news! The district is remodeling the band and choir rooms, and will replace doors on all music classrooms this summer! We will not have access to our facilities from June 1-July 31, so if you need a school-owned instrument/equipment over the summer, it will have to live with you until school resumes 🙂
LPA meets Mondays from 3:30-4:15 p.m. in the choir room.
Upper-Level Orchestra Camp
MPS Upper-Level Orchestra Camp will be held at MNHS July 8-12, with Leadership Seminar on July 13!
